MIND2PLAN
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
Thank you for using Mind2Plan (the “App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how user information is handled in the App.
1Information You Provide
The App may process the following information entered by users:
- Project names and project descriptions
- Node names, notes, types, priorities, progress, and colors
- Start dates, end dates, milestones, and dependencies between nodes
- Mind map positions, visible hierarchy levels, and other customization preferences
- App settings
This project and planning data is generally stored locally on your device.
2Information Collected Automatically
The App or its third-party services may collect the following information:
- Device information and operating system version
- App crash and performance information
- Information required to display advertisements
- Purchase status, including Premium entitlement status
- Product IDs and store transaction information used to check purchase status
3Advertising
The free version uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to deliver advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may use device information, advertising data, product interactions, and, where permitted, advertising identifiers for ad delivery, personalization, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention.
On iOS, when data would be used for tracking as defined by Apple, the App requests permission through App Tracking Transparency (ATT). Tracking that requires ATT permission does not begin before permission is granted. If permission is granted, an advertising identifier may be used for purposes such as ad personalization and measurement, subject also to the user's applicable Google consent choices.
Declining or being unable to grant ATT permission does not restrict the App's main features. The free version may continue to display ads within a scope that does not involve tracking requiring ATT permission.
Where consent is required, including in the EEA and UK, the App may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present choices about advertising and data use. Google UMP consent and Apple ATT permission are separate mechanisms, and the App respects both.
Planning data, such as project names, node content, notes, and schedules, is stored on your device. The App does not transmit this content to the developer’s servers or pass it to the advertising SDK. Separately, the advertising SDK may collect information for advertising and related purposes and transmit it to Google and its advertising partners.
Information collected by the advertising SDK may include IP addresses (which may be used to estimate general location), device information, identifiers such as advertising identifiers subject to permissions and settings, ad impressions and interactions, app interactions, crash logs, and diagnostic information such as performance data. This information may be used for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and SDK quality improvements. The information collected and used depends on the SDK’s behavior, device settings, and applicable consent and permissions.
For more information, please review the Google Privacy Policy.
4In-App Purchases
Premium purchases and tips to the developer are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The App does not obtain payment information such as your credit card number.
The App uses mechanisms provided by each store to check purchase status and restore purchases. On iOS, the App uses Apple’s StoreKit to check Premium entitlements and reflect changes in purchase status, including refunds and revocations. Purchase information is not transmitted to or stored on the developer’s own servers. The App does not generate its own installation ID for purchase verification.
5Data Storage
Project, node, schedule, dependency, mind map position, customization, and settings data entered by users is generally stored locally on the device. Purchase status is checked through mechanisms provided by each store. Purchase information is not stored on the developer’s own cloud servers. Purchase and transaction information handled by Apple and Google is subject to their respective privacy policies.
6Third-Party Services
The App may use the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK
- Apple App Store / Apple In-App Purchase
- Google Play / Google Play Billing
Please review each provider’s privacy policy for details about how that provider handles information.
7Use by Minors
Minors should use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian where appropriate.
8Changes to This Policy
This Policy may be revised in response to changes in law, new App functionality, or changes to services used by the App. Material changes will be announced on this page or through another appropriate method.
